Katarzyna Jachacy-Bednarek
A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, major in law (1996) and Postgraduate Studies in Mediation, Negotiation and Other Alternative Methods of Dispute Resolution at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (2010). A graduate of advocate traineeship at the Warsaw Bar Association (2000).
From 2001 Katarzyna is running individual advocate legal office in Warsaw. From 2001 cooperates with Dorota Malarecka. From 2018 is a Managing Partner in ,Katarzyna Jachacy-Bednarek, Dorota Malarecka, Law Office Partnership’.
From 2011 lecturer in Training Department of the Warsaw Bar Association, providing professional legal trainings to trainee advocates. Katarzyna is also acting as a formal mentor of trainee attorneys at the Warsaw Bar Association. Fluent in English.
The main professional specialization is family and guardianship law in the full range, both personal and property rights, empowered with over 20 years of practical experience, with particular emphasis on the practice of providing advice and representing Clients in court proceedings and in mediation in difficult cases. Actively uses knowledge and experience of working with specialists in the fields of: psychology, pedagogy, pediatrics, psychiatry, family mediators and subject matter experts in property valuation.
Whenever possible, Katarzyna uses negotiations and mediation to resolve disputes, which results from professional acumen that understanding the root cause of a conflict and evaluating possibilities and methods of resolving it are key tools for Clients to actually and truly solve their problems.
Simultaneously Katarzyna has long-term professional practice in the field of complex civil cases for demands of payments, including damages and compensations, with particular emphasis on multi-faceted and complex procedural court proceedings against developers or insurance companies, in which she represents both individuals and housing communities.
In the course of advocate activities Katarzyna also supports Clients in achieving both court and out-of-court mutual settlements and agreements.
